UNSPECIFIC COMPASSION

The hole in the wall is trifling, well, initially it was not noticed
Eventually, it fashioned a window with latch openings
So I flung them wide and put a window box on the sill

(air carries me)

Compassion infuses the dirt as hemlock struggles to breathe
Reaching through the grown space against the rotted wooden boards
Splintered flesh gains hope of another; happiness to seed elsewhere

(fire rages in violet hues)

Droplets cleanse transparently; water is toxic in large doses
Appetites increase as the tide is calmed, shields are locked
Swords are hung; no time to cry or shout for help

(water flows)

A swift decision called out to the universe
Rope severed from waists it has bound so long
Dispel this negative air; walking without backwards glance

(earth secures)

Space clearing; entity calling; liberty unrestrained
As love started this, in love it shall end
Letting go can only be a finality

I'll be sitting on the moon
